A northern group under the aegies of Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has disclosed that the chances of the Kwara state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq in the coming election are bright.
This, according to the group followed the good governance being enjoyed by the Kwarans.
The leader of the group, Isa Ahmed explained this while speaking to Kwarans in Jalingo on Thursday.
While speaking, Ahmed said that it has become imperative for the group to mobilise within and outside the state for the return of the Governor in 2023.
“Gov. AbdulRasaq deserves a second term in office come 2023, “in view of his outstanding performances since assumption of office on May 29, 2019.
” It is the governor’s constitutional right to recontest in 2023. And it is our believe that his performance in the last three years would speak for him both at the primaries and at the general election,” the group emphasised.
The group urged the governor to go ahead with his aspiration of become a second term Governor of Kwara State.
