The Arewa Solidarity Group, has said that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq of Kwara state has shown strong commitment in repositioning the state through people’s oriented policies.
The group in a statement issued on Tuesday said that the transformation strides of the Governor which is visible in the state, and that such a feat needed continuity.
In the statement signed by the group leader, Isa Ahmed stated that Governor AbdulRasaq has kept to his words of transforming Kwara state into a modern city.
“That is the new face lift the Governor is giving to the state, the group is very much aware of institutional transformation of the Government to enable effective service delivery to the good people of the state, Kwara State rehabilitation and rebuilding of schools have effectively increases the number of enrollment of pupil and students in the school. This have also help in raising confidence of parents and believing in the public educational system.”
“As a socio-economic group, we are much aware of the transformation that is currently going on in the state; in all aspects of governance.
” The leadership style being displayed is not common to the people of the state due to the benefit and dividends of democracy been enjoyed by the people in the state,” the group explained.
While calling on the Kwarans to sustain AbdulRasaq’s leadership beyond the 2023 for growth and development of the state, the group also described the Governor as a servant of the people and a patriot.
