The Kashim Musa Tumsah (KMT) foundation has distributed 5,000 bags to school children in Fune Local Government Area of Yobe.
The foundation made the distribution at Fune Local Government Area of Yobe State on Tuesday.
The KMT contact person, Umar Alooma said the gesture will not only boost education but will reduce some of the burdens and responsibilities many parents face.
The foundation said this is a part of its ‘Light Up Yobe Initiative’, aimed at targeting a broader distribution of educational materials across Yobe.
NAN reports that the foundation regularly distributes free school supplies, materials, and books to students across local government areas in Yobe State (including Fune, Fika, Nangere, Gujba, and Gulani).
Through the initiative, the foundation has distributed thousands of school kits and tens of thousands of books to support children’s schooling. (NAN)
