Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has been nominated in the “World Artist of the Year” category at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems was also nominated.
The awards are set for Monday, March 17 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, airing on FOX.

The iHeartRadio Innovator Award is presented to an artist who has impacted both music and global culture throughout their career. Past recipients are Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, U2, Bruno Mars, Chance the Rapper, Alicia Keys, Swift and Beyoncé.
Past recipients of the iHeartRadio Icon Award are Bon Jovi, Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, Pink and Cher.
The 12th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards will celebrate the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout 2024, while also offering a preview of the upcoming hits of 2025.
