Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule, Wife of Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, has drummed support for Sen. Bola Tinubu, the Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) to succeed in the February election.
She also called on people of the state and Nigerians at large to vote for Gov. Abdullahi Sule and all other APC candidates in the general election.
Sule made the call in Akwanga at the Nasarawa North APC women’s campaign for the re-election of Gov. Abdullahi Sule and election of other APC candidates.
The governor’s wife also called on the women and other Nigerians, who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to do so to exercise their rights during the general election.
“It is only with the PVCs that you will vote Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov. Abdullahi Sule and other APC candidates in the general election.
“Voting Tinubu, my husband and other APC candidates will enable you and others to enjoy much needed dividends of democracy.
“As APC Government at both the national and state levels have performed well and are still doing well in touching on our peoples’ lives positively,” she said.
Sule added that with Tinubu as President of Nigeria and Gov. Sule as Governor, there would be more empowerment of women and other citizens.
She urged the women to always support their husbands for the betterment of their families and the society at large.
On their parts, Mrs Mary Enwongulu, former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Mrs Blessing Ebuga, State APC Woman Leader, among other women, drummed support for Tinubu, Gov. Sule and all other APC candidates during the general elections.
They said that Buhari and Gov. Sule’s led APC government has empowered and still empowering the women and other people, hence, the need for Nigerians to give their votes to APC during the elections.
Earlier, Alhaji Safiyanu Isa, the Executive Chairman, Akwanga Local Government commended Sule for his developmental strides across the state.
Isa said that the governor’s developmental strides have positively improved on the standard of living of the people of the state.
The chairman called on the people of the area and the state at large to vote for Gov. Sule and all other APC candidates in the general election.
