The Third Mainland Bridge will be partially closed as from today (Friday) for repairs which will last for 6 months.

Reports coming into Money Central suggests that the Federal Government and Lagos State Government ASG have planned for a smooth exercise.

MoneyCentral reported this week that the proposed 3rd Mainland Bridge Closure in Lagos is expected to take massive toll on businesses and the economy.

Repair work according to the Lagos State Government is due to reports of some worn-out joints on the bridge.

The state government also announced that the alternative routes mapped out following the planned 6 months’ closure, are ready for use after repair works on them.
