2023: Nasarawa LP Governorship Candidate Engr. Ewuga Sets Agenda for Youths

As the 2023 General Elections draw closer, Nasarawa State Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Engr. Joseph Ewuga has admonished youths on the need to support progressive -minded leaders for better opportunities and development, even as he urged the electorates to vote for credible candidates Like him with the interest of youths at heart.

The governorship hopeful gave the charge in an interview with Journalists in Lafia, while appreciating the people of Nasarawa state for coming out in their numbers during the flag-off of the party’s presidential campaign in the state.

Engr. Ewuga said the youths must get involved in the electioneering process and support a candidate who must not only be ideas-driven but also a mentor to the youth.

The LP governorship candidate, who is a seasoned Contractor posited that the choice of leaders was quite critical to the general growth of youths, and noted that it was time for them to take their destinies into their hands.

“You do not just need a governor but a mentor, and to have a governor who will mentor you along the line of legitimate self-development and actualization, you must be involved. Guide your PVCs because that is what you will use to vote for me and other LP candidates when the time comes,” he said.

The LP standard-bearer further urged the youth to get involved in legitimate jobs, adding that God would only bless the works of their hands and not the crumbs from the table of others.

He appreciated the people of Nasarawa state, for coming out in their numbers to welcome the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi during the flag-off of the LP campaign in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital, noting that he will reciprocate the gesture by developing the state when elected as governor.

While calling on the youth to be steadfast, he advised them to vote for him as governor and other labour party candidates for the overall growth of Nasarawa state and Nigeria at large.

Engr. Ewuga revealed that LP had structures in all the council wards and units in the state and had set up modalities in place to commence ward-to-ward sensitisation for the people to fully vote for LP in the 2023 General Elections.
