John Akpan Udoedehe, the secretary of the caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has resigned.
Udoedehe resigned his appointment on Tuesday, a day after Governor Sani Bello of Niger State assumed office as the acting national caretaker committee chairman of the party.
Earlier, there were reports that President Muhammadu Buhari had ordered the sacking of Governor Mai Mala Buni as the chairman of the party.
